Dr Nick Stretton BDS(Otago) MRACDS(GDP) FICOI

Nick is a registered dental surgeon who graduated from the University of Otago. After travelling and working in Outback Australia and Alice Springs Hospital, Nick decided to move back home to New Zealand and started working at Oneroa Dental Surgery in 2010. Nick has gained further advanced training overseas in Oral Surgery and IV sedation techniques. In 2016 Nick was awarded Membership to the Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and this was followed up by a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2017. Nick's special area of clinical interest is oral surgery including the replacement of teeth with titanium implants, and surgical removal of impacted wisdom teeth under IV sedation.

Nick is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, and a committee member of the New Zealand Society for Sedation in Dentistry. He is also registered with the Australian Dental Board. Nick is currently furthering his studies part-time.

Dr Lonika Joshi BDS(Otago)

Lonika joined our Waiheke Island practice in March 2020 after initially meeting Nick in 2017. Lonika enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and has a special interest in restoring the mouth to full function, including crafting her own ceramic crowns with our in-house furnace and CADCAM system.

Lonika initially moved to New Zealand from Malaysia in 2000, and soon after went travelling. She followed her father's footsteps into dentistry and started her dental degree in the Ukraine, before moving back to New Zealand to complete her Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree with the University of Otago. She is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, and the local Auckland Dental Association Branch. Lonika enjoys the coastal walking tracks and entertaining family and friends at the local vineyards Waiheke has to offer.

Dr Libby Lindsay BDS(Otago)

Libby moved to New Zealand from Lake Tahoe, California, USA, in 2003. After completing a masters degree in pharmacology and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Libby moved to Auckland in 2010. Libby takes pride in traditional general dentistry techniques but also aims to bring a holistic approach to the dental practice, with a strong focus on prevention and pain relief. Libby also has a special interest in nutritional and natural medicine and integrates that into her dental practice as much as possible. She is a registered Fitgenes genetic practitioner as seen on the documentary "Why Are We Fat?" with Simon Gault. Libby works with the rest of the Oneroa Dental Team to put special attention into considering the best overall plan for your oral health now and in the future.

Libby is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, the Auckland Dental Association, the Australasian College of Nutrition and Environmental Medicine, the Natural Health Practitioners New Zealand, and the New Zealand Natural Medicine Association.

Bronwyn Weaver DipDentTher&DentHyg(UK) DentRad(London)

Bronwyn is our registered Dental Hygienist and Therapist and after a year practising in London moved to Waiheke in 2005 with her husband Tim. Bronwyn graduated from the UK and has a special registration allowing her to treat adult patients for routine dental treatment including examinations and fillings. Bronwyn's area of special interest is the overall oral health of her patients and preventing disease in later life. Bronwyn also holds a teaching position at Auckland University of Technology. Bronwyn also plays a valuable role by providing dental services to children.

When not at work she can be found walking the beautiful beaches of Waiheke with her family and faithful dog Brooke.
