Dr Nick Stretton BDS(Otago) MRACDS(GDP) FICOI

Nick is a registered dental surgeon who graduated from the University of Otago. After travelling and working in Outback Australia and Alice Springs Hospital, Nick decided to move back home to New Zealand and started working at Oneroa Dental Surgery in 2010. Nick has gained further advanced training overseas in Oral Surgery and IV sedation techniques. In 2016 Nick was awarded Membership to the Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and this was followed up by a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2017. Nick's special area of clinical interest is oral surgery including the replacement of teeth with titanium implants, and surgical removal of impacted wisdom teeth under IV sedation.

Nick is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, and a committee member of the New Zealand Society for Sedation in Dentistry. He is also registered with the Australian Dental Board.

Dr Lonika Joshi BDS(Otago)

Lonika enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and has a special interest in restoring the mouth to full function, including crafting her own ceramic crowns with our in-house furnace and CADCAM system.

Lonika initially moved to New Zealand from Malaysia in 2000, and soon after went travelling. She followed her father's footsteps into dentistry and started her dental degree in the Ukraine, before moving back to New Zealand to complete her Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree with the University of Otago. She is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, and the local Auckland Dental Association Branch. Lonika enjoys the coastal walking tracks and entertaining family and friends at the local vineyards Waiheke has to offer.

Dr Kelly Dempster BDS(Otago)

Kelly graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and has experience in the community and private settings. She has worked as a House Officer at Northland District Health Board providing emergency care and in multiple private practices as a general dentist. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with the goal to provide a gentle, comfortable experience for all patients making her popular with the whole family. She provides conservative, prevention-based treatment plans to suit your dental needs and desires. Kelly has a special interest in dento-facial aesthetics, providing muscle relaxant injections and dermal filler to treat a wide array of issues. Not only can she improve skin health through appearance medicine, but she can also help with tension headaches, jaw pain and gummy smiles. She’s a current member of the New Zealand Dental Association, Australasian Association of Dental Facial Aesthetics. Kelly has moved south from her home town of Whangarei to move closer to her partner and friends. She fills her leisure time getting out and about with her miniature dachshund, walking the many trails the island has to offer and spending time with friends and family.

Bronwyn Weaver DipDentTher&DentHyg(UK) DentRad(London)

Bronwyn is our registered Dental Hygienist and Therapist and after a year practising in London moved to Waiheke in 2005 with her husband Tim. Bronwyn graduated from the UK and has a special registration allowing her to treat adult patients for routine dental treatment including examinations and fillings. Bronwyn's area of special interest is the overall oral health of her patients and preventing disease in later life. Bronwyn also holds a teaching position at Auckland University of Technology. Bronwyn also plays a valuable role by providing dental services to children.

When not at work she can be found walking the beautiful beaches of Waiheke with her family and faithful dog Brooke.
